Category Manager (Ref. J591)
This is an international FMCG company operating on a global stage with large market shares in Great Britain, Ireland, Africa and Asia.
Technical Expertise: We are looking for a strong category manager who has significant experience of both strategic sourcing and supplier performance management. You must have commercial procurement experience - stores and logistics professionals will not be considered. We will be flexible around the categories people have had experience in, assuming they know either the FMCG or Ghanaian markets well. Personal characteristics: The right candidate will be able to think holistically whilst paying attention to the details, take ownership of issues and drive to solutions and must generally be impatient with the status quo and driven to improve things. Building of strong interpersonal relationships is also a must and the candidate must be able to show experience of challenging stakeholders in order to do the right thing for the business. As the role will need to interact with both local and regional stakeholders, experience of managing international multiple stakeholder relationships is needed
